  Canvas goes white hdv 24p

  Hello,

  My source footage is hdv shot on Sony V1U at 24p 1080. I have the FCP easy setup on 1080p24. When I play the sequence it shows on the canvas. When I stop at a point on the sequence timeline, the canvas window goes white.

  I tried easy setup 1080i60 as well, and had the same trouble.

  Editing on Powerbook G4, is that the issue? FCP 6.0.1

  Any insight?

  Sounds like you have your canvas set to show “Alpha” instead of “RGB”. The right-most of the 3 pulldowns in the canvas window lets you change this. Hope that helps.
