  HDV 23.98 capture

  I’m currently using some HDV- as a C camera on a broadcast show, where we have to match it to a 1080 23.98 HDx900 camera. We’re currently capturing firewire- waiting for the HDMI-SDI converter box I just ordered. In the meantime- although loading in thru Pro Res 422 at 23.98 – the item properties after we load the material in, says 29.97. Is this normal? Or does this mean it’s actually not living on the FCP sequence- as a 23.98 shot?

  What format of HDV (i.e. which camera)?

  DId you shoot 24A?

  Do the resulting frames have pulldown?
