  audio slipping in final cut pro

  Hi all,
  Im having some issues inside final cut pro when importing footage from a panasonic HVXp2..
  when viewing footage in log and transfer all footage is fine..
  when it is imported into final cut the video and audio are out of sinc..
  to begin with it appears to be about 11frames out, but as it plays the audio slips more and more…..
  this only seems to be from the cards as when we dub to tape the problem disapears???..also when viewing captured media in Quicktime the audio is out of sync… perhaps a Quicktime issue?
  Has anyone out there had this problem? we are running FCP6.03…..perhaps it is an issue with vers 6.03???????

  any help or advice would help my sanity to no end

  First, I would trash prefs and run Disk Utility from the OS X install disks. Sounds like something is amiss.
