  4 track discrete QT

  Is there a way to output a QT master of a project with 4 discrete audio tracks like when you output to tape for broadcast (1+2=Full Stereo Mix, 3=SOTS 4=Music)? I know I can export out aiffs of each of these elements but; it would be nice to have it all contained in one QT.

  If you set up your sequence for multiple audio outputs it will do what you’re looking for. So open sequence settings, then select audio outputs and change it to the number of tracks you need. Now back in the sequence, you need to map each audio track to the right output track. So right click on over by the lock track button and change the output for the tracks you need.

  Thanks You Russell, Its been awhile since I’ve had to output a discrete mix and I forgot how to and the terminology to even look it up.
