  Quicktime not showing Audio

  I have created a tutorial video with Snapz Pro X with both Audio and video. When I import it into to Final Cut Pro 6 it asks me to render the audio tracks when I do so it says general error. When I try to view my audio wave in the viewer it shows up as a flat line.

  Has anyone had this problem or know what is happening.

  sounds like the audio codec is unsupported.

  can you open the original video with the sound, then
  export it with uncompressed audio?
