    Hey everyone

    Just a quick question.

Is it possible, when using a camera, to lock the point of interest to a particular point in 3d space, and then use the orbit camera tool. (The only reason I ask as opposed to traditional keyframing, is that the orbit camera tool is so much more immediate and quicker to use)

Any help would be gratefully received.

You can create a 3D Null object and link Point of Interest to it with a pick whip expression.

Then move the null around to where you want it and orbit the camera as needed. Remember though if you keyframe the position of the camera with the orbit tool it will interpolate “linearly”; otherwise meaning not in a circle as the orbit tool may seem to dictate but straight from one point to the other.

    Cheers,
