Quick Time Question
I did not find a QT forum so i figured you guys would be the next best thing. I am takikng Full size QT’s out of FCP ( Self contained). And converting them into Apple Tv movies. There a re no available settings for this conversion. the first time i convert i get one size 560 x something … the next time i get another size 960 x something. Anyone know how this is determined. Can I get control over this conversion or is it just a turkey shoot? Thanks in Advance.
A cut is a cut & a dissolve is a disolve, and not just anybody with a system is a pro.

Use Compressor. There are Apple TV presets in there.
Export a Reference movie from your timeline and then go into Compressor with that.

Are these in the latest ver. of Compressor. I am on compressor 2.3. I am trying to set these up for playback on a “Netgear EVA8000” for playback at a tradeshow i originally tried to use comp to get the required mp4 file, but could never get them to play correctly, sync probs, video delayed…… Using QT pro is the only way i could get tteh right file type. even then i would have to change the extension to mp4 manually. Thanks for the info Walter.
