Tearing a Logo in Half
I’d like to tear a logo in half and have the halves fly off the screen.
I’ve got a very generic looking version of this already by using masks and basic movements.
I’ve tried using the page turn effect with the mask – however, the page turn effect does not recognize my mask (only the full logo).
How can I create a realistic looking tear?

I’ve done something similar to this before, where I duplicated the layer and used an actual torn piece of cloth/paper as a track matte, using the appropriate transfer mode for each half of the object. I then precomposed the two halves of the logo so the page turn would use them correctly.
