  Deinterlace

  hi,

  does it matter which field one deinterlaces (upper or lower)? also what are people’s favourite methods/tools when it comes to deinterlacing?

  Basically you keep a full field and you calculate the in-between lines. I don’t think it will change much if you discharge one or the other as long as the footage has been properly interpreted.
  I use Re_vision FieldsKit. Its offer different options to use according with your footage.
  Can be slow, but the quality is super.

  Fieldskit seems to be one of the best, and with the most control. Graeme Nattress’ filters are also good, and Magic Bullet Frames is also good, and quite fast.
