FCP reverb filter won’t render! ???
I’m trying to put the finishing touches on a class project due tomorrow, and I’ve used the “Reverberation” filter that comes with FCP on a violin track, and it will not render no matter how many times I render it. It stays pink. I try to select just that track and render it, and that doesn’t work either. I don’t have the time or resources to edit this audio in another program (the only audio proram I own is Garage Band, sadly, being a poor student). And the track sounds just awful without the reverb on it.
Are there any tricks to get FCP 6.0 to render its own freaking audio filters?

Check the online help system for exactly how to force rendering. You must have the audio elements selected in the Sequence menu before the render command will talk to them.
there is no PINK indicator, there is red, yellow, orange, green, and a couple of blues but nothing that can be considered pink.> Are there any tricks to get FCP 6.0 to render its own freaking audio filters?< Nice try. A deadline is no place to try to learn the finer subtleties of your chosen tools. Unsolicited advice: Don't try to tell your professor the software was at fault. It’s totally pink. Okay, it’s more like fuschia. I suppose fuschia is the new red this season (sorry). But I won’t quibble. And unlike most students I do read the manual. The sequences were selected; I even tried selecting _all_ of them, only the audio, and rendering all of them at once, then I tried selecting each one and rendering them one at a time, in different orders. This has never happened before with the other audio filters. Then I closed and opened the program, and of course it worked fine after that. That’s something the manual doesn’t tell you – go figure.

I meant to tell you, if you have SoundTrack Pro, the reverb in there is WAY better than what’s in FCP.
