  Batch Capture

  Yo,
  Every time I try to do a batch capture, it comes up saying ‘building a list of used media’, what does this mean? Why does it do it every single freekin time I batch capture? and is there any way of stopping it?

  Yo.

  This means FCP is checking your current batch list against the media that is already in the system to make sure it knows what it needs to capture and what is already on your system.
