    Hello,
I have numerous chapter markers placed throughout a 2 hour sequence. I would like to insert some black into the head of the sequence (which now I realize I should have done before I placed all of these chapter markers, sheesh). Is there anyway I can retain their relationship to the same frame and still insert a few seconds of black at the front end without them slipping? I tried copying the sequence to a new one and lost them all that way too. Is there some kind of a workaround?
    Thanks
    Mary Ann

I never tried this but what about making a new sequence with the amount of black that you want and then place the original sequence in the new one like a nested clip?

    Steve,
Yes, I did try that already, no luck. I decided to move all of the markers manually but it sure seems like there should be a better way.
    Thanks

    You would think so.

I don’t use markers that much and it’s probably for that reason right there.

    Good luck.
