  • Fixing footage with dead pixel?

Got a lovely multicam sequence of a choir, but master camera has a glaring dead pixel (showing near white) right in the middle of the picture. Is there a sneaky way to mask this? Problem is the shots are never static, moving from bright area to dark – so cannot simply burn-in a suitable static color spot.

Have tried a tiny iris effect on the master shot with a slightly displaced clone shot underneath in order to matte in a nearby color spot which should sort of track the original shot, but can’t get the iris circle small enough to be unnoticable.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Pete
