HELP! sequence clips are green, and don’t play!
HELP HELP HELP
So in my sequence, the first portion of my editing is all online and plays fine.
the second section of my sequence has no preview image on the clips in the timeline, and when i put my cursor on it, they are just a green screen in the canvas window. IF i hit Play, when on any of these clips, it gives me a ‘General Error’ box, and then freezes and crashes/shuts program down.
Furthermore, i go to my media drive where the source clip for that piece lives, and when i click on the qt movie just to see what’s up, it says ‘This movie cannot be opened. This file is not a movie file.’
These files all live on my external LaCie drive.
The system is Final Cut 5.1.4
The computer is a dual 2g powerpc G5.HELP ME! I’m in the middle of an edit with my EP right here, and we can’t watch the sequence we need to work on!
