Trying to upgrade/reinstall compressor
I am having an issue with Compressor and wanted to reinstal the 3.0.2 update. For some reason when I send something to compressor from FCP, nothing happens. I went and looked at my version of compressor and it’s 3.0
I downloaded the 3.0.2 update from apple, but it’s not letting me install it.
It’s saying:
“You cannot install Compressor 3.0.2 Update on this volume. Your computer does not need this update.”
How do I force it to take the update? Is there something in the library I need to change/delete?

Yesterday was that day for me … i feel your pain. Well for me it was qmaster and compressor both breaking.
The following has great advice … boils down to using a program called pacifist to just install specific parks for FCS.

Hopefully you won’t need this one but for a nice clean install of FCS there is a program called FCS Remover
