  Telephone Audio Effect

  Hi folks

  I’m trying to create a sound effect in FCP 2; so that you have the feeling it comes out of a phone.

  I searched the Internet and found a couple of ways.

  This one doesn’t feel wright.
  * Apply a Low-pass filter to your audio clip, set the frequency to 2500 and Q = 1
  * Apply a High-pass filter to the same clip with the frequency set to 500 and Q = 1

  Then something that sound about write but you can hardly hear it. And if I boost the gain then are the meters in red.
  EQ filter from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz.
  It looks like this:

  FCP 2? Do you mean FCS2? I do this in ST Pro nowadays with a notch filter preset.

  Final Cut Pro 2, at school we always say FCP.

  I have Soundtrack pro, but no idea how that works or how to import my files from final cut.
