Urgent! Major MultiClip Sync Issues. Need Help.
Having major issues with a multiclip project after updating to FCP 6. The project originated in FCP 5 over a year ago. Now I have to make changes. Since then I updated to FCP 6. One track in my multiclip (3 camera show) appears in sync in my timeline but when I export to quicktime as an FCP movie, MP2, or H 264, the particular track goes out of sync for three minutes in the middle of the show anywhere from a few seconds to 14 seconds. Some takes actually start in sync and then suddenly go out.
I’m usually pretty good a trouble shooting but this has me stumped. Please don’t scold me for updating FCP in the middle of a project. As reality has it we often have to revisit projects years afterwards. The one version per project is not tenable.
That aside anyone seen this or can give me lead.

Sounds like something is corrupt. I would recreate the multiclip in that area of the sequence. If that’s not it, perhaps it’s a corrupt clip or media file. Another thing it might be is a corrupt sequence. You can try to copy/paste the clips into a new sequence. Give these things a try.

just to try something that is quick. Have you collapsed the sequence before you try to export it?
