  .AVI codec in QT?

  Hi,

  Couldn’t find the answer in the search.

  How can I get QT & FCP to play .avi files?

  Well, Perian will get it to play in Quicktime.

  But I wouldn’t really want to edit it in Final Cut. I guess you could try it, but I have a feeling everything will work much better if you convert it to something Final Cut is used to working with.
