    Hello COW-ers:

Wondering if there’s a simple way to automate exporting a sequence using Quicktime conversion. I routinely send off H264 QT exports for my clients to review, and everytime I have to reset the settings to my specs. Wish there was just a way to save my specs as a preset a la AVID, but there doesn’t seem to be. Is there another simple way to do this? Like with a droplet or something like that?

    Any help appreciated.

    Best, JIM.

    Hi Kevin:

Thanks for the speedy response. Do you know if this action will work ‘inside’ FCP, and can I just highlite my sequence (with or without marks) and get it to do the conversion with my preferred settings? From what it says on the site, seems you have to at least first input your favourite settings, if not export a QT from the sequence first, then run the script…

    Any of this make sense?

    Thanks again for any insight.

Sorry that I misunderstood you. I thought you wanted something from QT. You can create a droplet for compressor on your desktop and just drag and drop any sequence on that. I think that would work for you.

Thanks Kevin. Never thought of using Compressor. That sounds like a great idea. I’ll give it a whirl.
