Speed change and rippling timeline

Chrispy,

The simplist thing to do is to copy the clip to the end of the timeline, or to another empty timeline, make your speed adjustement, and paste it back into place. Its a big pain in the arse isn’t it? Some here who haven’t used NLEs that don’t do it that way have actually defended it. Go figure…

Yes. Do the speed change in the Viewer.

If you already have the clip in the timeline, do a match frame, then the speed change in the Viewer, then do a replace edit.

You can also move the clip to the end of the timeline, make the speed change, trim it, then place back into the sequence.
