  I am getting this message when I try to launch

  DLL
  An error was made to load a program with an incorrect format

  Anyone get this know how to fix it?

  If you’ll be more specific in your subject line, you’ll get more specific assitance.

  Tell us more. Has AE ever worked before? What was happening the last time you used it? Did it crash? What do you think caused that? What platform are you running?

  I reinstalled after effects on my computer, removed the old version and now when I go to launch I get that error..

  I’d suggest another reinstall, or exploring the installation discs and dropping the correct file into the correct folder.

  I tried another reinstall. What do you mean exploring the file folders?

  Why did you reinstall in the first place?
  What platform?
  What version?
