  problem using undo in FCP5.1.4

  this is the strangest bug i’ve ever noticed.. i hope i’ll explain it well enough

  so i have some footage in a sequence. i cut the footage in two. then i decide i dont want it cut there and hit cmd-z to undo. it doesnt do anything but move the play head to where i cut. then i hit it again. it deletes the footage to the right of the cut point. what the heck?! so then i hit redo, and it puts the footage back, but no matter what i do I cannot get back to before the cut was made. I tried the same situation again, only this time using the undo item in the menu to see if it was my keyboard acting up, but no, same deal.
  what is going on with my fcp?!

  any ideas are appreciated.
  i think i let the prokit update yesterday, thats all i can think that has changed since i last edited.

  I don’t know what caused it in the first place, but I decided to restart my mac, and look at that.. it works again. That better not happen again, thats for sure.
