I’ve been noticing that when I export a video and have text, especially moving text, that it looks like poop after a QT export – and also when I put it into iDVD

what’s the best way to fix this?? I’m usually using a QT conversion with h.264 compression at a high quality

    help?

If you’re working in DV, sometimes just raising or lowering the text a tiny bit will make a world of difference. You can see the effects of this on an external video monitor… try that and if it looks good there, it will look good in QT exports or on a DVD.

Also, if you use DVD SP, you’ll get better looking everything. But don’t think that iDVD is causing your problems, rather, it’s the way you’re monitoring the video externally. HAVE to do this to see what you really have going…
