    Hi,

Since I upgraded to FCS2 and Leopard my sequences with motion content take very very long to render?
I don’t understand why? Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

Go to your Sequence Settings > Render Control and set the Motion projects settings to Quality = Normal and uncheck “Always Use Best Quality When Rendering Movies”.

    Thanks,
But what exactly will happen to the quality when I export it to a quicktime movie? And compress it in bit vice to MPEG 2?

    I didn’t know I could do that 🙂

If you were happy how it looked in FCP5 then that’s the same as “Normal” quality in FCP6.

The Best quality option was introduced in FCP6 but it makes a big difference to the render time.
