  Strange Clicking in Audio ???

  Ive dragged and dropped a music track, (MP3) into my timeline and at a certain part i get this strange “click click click click” as if the music is slightly skipping. At first I thought it was because my audio levels were peeking but ive turned them down and im still get the noise. Any ideas why?

  mp3s should be converted to aif or wav at 48khz before dropping into FCP. mp3s click and skip otherwise. That is normal but annoying.
