I posted a week or two ago that, suddenly, every time I attempted to access the YouTube site, it would fully crash the Apple Safari browser on any of my local computers.

Since I post some of my edited video work there, it was causing me some problems.

I posted this as it was a very sudden change in my normal operations, and wanted to warn others that there might have been a bug that was being circulated to Macs.

I found that this had begun to happen all across the country on Macs that had certain combinations of OS X and Safari versions.

It turns out that YouTube had implemented some kind of change to their site and, after they were made aware of the Safari problems, they set about to repair the situation on their end.

As a result, as of today, 1-17-08, the problem has been solved.
Just as suddenly as the problem first appeared, Safari and YouTube appear to now work perfectly.

I am posting this on both the Mac OS X and FCP forums.
