  P2 files importing as grey screen

  Long story short: we lost a drive containing original P2 files as we were cloning it as a backup. What are the chances? anyhow….

  Managed to save about 60% on our own using Diskwarrior and copying off what files it would allow. then sent drive to be “fixed” buy the manufacture. They got everything back… but a large amount of the P2 files that were restored will play video for a time and then go to a blank grey screen. If there was audio attached to the file, it will continue to play underneath grey video.

  I have a feeling it is corrupt beyond repair. I’ve used p2cms and p2 log pro – they both do the same thing FCP does. P2 log pro “fix clip” doesn’t help either.

  Any clues at all?
