  FCP 6 batch capture problem

  Hey guys,

  I’ve seen the other threads and as comforting as it is not being the only one: It still sucks …

  We lost a hard drive due to malfunction (thanks a lot lacie..) – now we have to batch capture HDV footage – and I just can’t get it to work:

  The project is in 1080/60i drop frame. No matter what I do – I get the ‘unable to locate time code’ message.
  Basically FCP seems to be unable to locate the ‘in’ TC.
  I shortened preroll and tried everything you can do in the device control settings – with absolutely zero success…

  I tried to recapture the missing media from the bin – but instead of the original clips FCP creates a number of funny sub clips and does not connect the media to the original master clips or the time line

  Anybody got a genius idea ?
