  Importing compositions?

  Hi there. I’m working on a collaborative project in after effects with 2 other people. We are all working on pieces of it independently, but now it’s my job to combine the three into 1. I thought there would be a way to export a composition and import it into another project file, but I just dont see that option anywhere….

  can someone pleeeease help me out?

  i believe you have to import the project into your new or exisitng project. you can then delete what ever comps/files you do not need. i dont think you can export/import a comp.

  select the comp/comps you want to “export” and do a collect files for selected comps if you need to bring the media with you, or reduce if you dont and save the a copy of the project.

  import the collected/copy project in to your main project and your set
