  • Better Way to Make SlideShow??

    Hey guys,

Im looking for a better way to make a good looking slideshow with little movements in the photos along with transitions. Is there a program or technique that I can use inside of FCP to help my workflow?

What I did last year for my buddy’s team, is I brought all the photos into FCP, made a couple of movement effects, and copy and paste those keyframes throughout the entire show alternating effects with the different photos. This turned out to be around 45 mins with an average of 5 secs a slide. VERY time consuming.
If I could use a different program to make a quicktime, and drop it into FCP, then add some music, that would be an incredible help to my sanity as there are more pics this year! ha Thanks guys. I will appreciate any advice.

iDVD has a slideshow feature that automates the process, but of course with that automation you loose the control you would have doing the process in FCP.

Fotomagico works great. Create your slide show and then export a video file that matches your FCP timeline and pull it into FCP.
