I will be doing a new show come feb, the show will be shot all P2, so everything is imported, the music, VO’s and graphics will also be all imports, the show will never go to tape or have any tape involved, layoff is to a drive, so here is my question, since we are staying all digital / imports we have no need for kona or decklink cards, but i would like an audio interface / board to control the audio levels between the viewer and cavas. anyone have any idea if this can be done. we are working with FCP 5.1.4 since 6 has was to may quarks right now (we did a huge test 5.1.4 was better for us).
    any help would be great.

    Andrew,

Capture cards also facilitate display to a video monitor…

I would imagine that monitoring video might be helpful in your work addition to monitoring audio. Yes? It certainly is helpful to me…
