Basic Text Question
When adding text to a clip, is there a quick way to scroll through the fonts using up/down arrows? I seem to have to change fonts one at a time and its really time consuming

Mac OS comes with a font viewer called Font Book. I often use that when choosing fonts. There are other font viewers available, too. I also like the one from Linotype: https://www.linotype.com/fontexplorerX?

Not quite sure what you’re asking for.
In both basic FCP “Text” and Boris “Title 3d” clicking on the Font select brings up a pulldown menu which you can navigate either by mouse, up/down arrow, or typing the first or first few letters of the font name to get in the neighborhood. If you’ve selected the text in the compose window, font changes will show up interactively. If you need to see what the typeface looks like beforehand, since it’s not displayed that way in these lists, use Font Book or Font Explorer as suggested in another reply, then choose by name.
