    Hi,

I have an FCP Project in Kona 3 1920×1080 with outline text Subtitles.

Our Lab wants me to export a Photo Shop Image sequence with just the Subtitles so that they can write them onto a D5 Tape.

When I tried exporting, I placed the Subtitles on V2 (Track 2) with nothing on Track 1 then did a Quicktime Conversion and set the output to a PhotoShop Image Sequence (Millions of Colors+). I got a black BackGround, even though I had set the Canvas to use Checkerboard 1. I was expecting a Transparent Background.

I was told that in order to get a Transparent Background, I needed to use an Alpha Channel to export the Subtitles on, but I’m not sure how to Create/ Export a Alpha Channel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Rajnesh
