Hi, I’m getting a very noticeable difference in quality of image when I render on my machine and when I render on a client’s machine.
Both machines are PowerPC G5 Dual 2.5 GHz, 2.5 GB, Mac OS 10.4.9. However, we’re on FCP 5.0, and they’re on FCP 5.1.4. I’m not sure if there are some hardware differences too–but maybe some of you all have ideas on what the differences might be.
I’m baffled. We have the sequence settings exactly the same, and the render quality settings set to the highest quality, on both machines. The quality of the text looks great when rendered on the client’s machine, but it looks terrible when rendered on our machine.
    Any ideas?

    Go to these menus:

    Sequence > Render All

    Sequence > Render Selection

Make sure all the options are checked in there, most importantly ‘full’. Then hit option-r and render all.
