We are new to FCP – and Apple – so forgive any repetitive questions here.
We are a television station with about six editors who would like to have indivual accounts so they can sign on and begin working on their project with their prefrences already set.
I’ve had a lot of trouble setting up individual accounts so they can access all other media files on the system. I get far enough that I think I’m successful only to find that a user cannot access a folder from another project or even save his own project to the projects folder we have set up for all to use.
Is there a way to set up individual accounts that can still access all other projects – read and write?
    Thanks.

You would have to save the project files in the shared folder if you want them accessible by any user account:
