This is a very strange day for me. Back in April I posted a thread asking why in the world was the default value of the drop shadow 10? I also gave Apple some feedback using the give feedback feature.

    https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/8/932038#932201

I was just reading through the release notes for FCP 6.0.2 and saw to my disbelief I saw the following paragraph:

Default Drop Shadow Offset Value Has Changed

Projects created in Final Cut Pro 6.0.2 use a default Drop Shadow Offset value of 2 in the Motion tab of the Viewer. Projects created in previous versions of Final Cut Pro still use a default Drop Shadow Offset value of 10.

APPLE WAS LISTENING!!!! I’m still shocked!!!!

So if you see something in FCP that you’d like changed, give Apple some feedback!

This validates what we’ve been saying on this forum for years. Apple DOES read their feedback forms and they DO read all the Apple related forums on the Cow.

They always have to weigh how many people need / requested a particular feature, but they do read and listen to all requests.
