  scrolling text dancing

  Hi,

  using the scrolling text feature for the first time in FCP. When it plays back, it seems to dance a bit (up and down) as it’s scrolling…what can be done to avoid this? i tried de-interlace (odd)…didnt’ work.

  My system
  fcp 5.1.4
  1.33 ghz mac powerPC g4
  os 10.4.10

  I would design the scroll in either Motion or After Effects. Then render it out to the native codec of your timeline.

  FCP does a horrible job with scrolling text.
