Hi guys… I just wanted to let you know you guys at creative cow are doing an excellent job. You all are my GURU’s and I have learnt so much from your tutorials. Thanks a lot. So heres what i wanted to know. I wanted to create a stencil look for a logo. The tricky part is that I want it to be spray painted and then once you peel the stencil off it reveals the logo… To be more specific is using a spray can to do a graffitti on the wall… Thats the kind of animation I have to create for this logo design… If you guys could direct me in the right direction that would be extremely useful. Thanks again for all your help

Trapcode particular is the first thing that came to my mind. http://www.trapcode.com It is a third party plugin that you have to buy. Check out their tutorial on Particular bounce. Just make a negative layer rather than a positive like he shows in the video. Make you particles much smaller.

There may be another way to do it with the stock AE.
