  Photo effect in FCP

  Trying to acheive an effect. Full motion color video pauses, a portion becomes a B/W photo with border. Photo remains as background while new photos are placed on top. Can this be done in FCP or should I use motion?

  It can be done in FCP, but it’d be much more easily done in AE or Motion.
