  • Keyframes in Color work, could FCP be next?

I just watched one of the demo movies from Ripple Training on Color, they demonstrated how you can drag keyframes across each other, just like in AE. I know Color was developed by a third party, but can’t the FCP guys make keyframes behave the same way? One could only hope…

    Have a wonderful day.

Yet another example of FCP’s fairly advanced, yet incredibly hindered compositing and animating abilities. There’s a huge list and they’ve been around since version 1 and I figured most would’ve been addressed as the highest priority. Never happened. Instead they do things like release motion and livetype and say to use that.

Of course the one big thing they don’t do like AE and FCP is automatically apply themselves after you create the first one. With Color you have to remember to Set the Keyframe first, then do whatever it is you’re going to do.

Well, that’s a good thing to point out Walter, in which case they are just like Kinemac, which I have gotten used to. If keyframing in FCP could do this, I would like it better.

    Thanks tho…

    Have a wonderful day.
