  Stupid Render question

  I am embarrassed to even ask this question but tried everything. Have a 57 83 min SD DV tapes to digitize. Done million times before. But because they are so long I’m breaking them into 30 min chunks to keep from having slippage. Using standard SD DV quality presets.

  Problem: When I put the first 30 min segment on the timeline all OK. But every time I add the next section it says I have to render the entire section. Using the same settings, same tape, digitized one section after another.

  Do I have a setting wrong, doing something stupid? Appreciate the assistance.

  Was there some sort of difference in the recording? Like frame rate changes or something?
