    Hi Ho,
I was wondering if anyone new the right Audio filters and Settings to put on a voice to achieve that Darth Vader sound or if there are any good plug-ins I could purchase to achieve this effect. Thanx so much for any input.

You could play around all day with Space Designer in Soundtrack Pro. With a little EQ you can get it to sound pretty good…

Or you can just have someone with a deep voice speak into a glass (not joking)

You already have this in Apple Garage Band, open up a track for vocals and check out the audio processor filters you can apply there.

Or drop ten or so bucks at the toy aisle in Walmart or Target for a Darth Vader voce changer toy authorized by ILM:-)

All you need is James Earl Jones and a bucket.

Seriously the effect can be done with a pitch shift down and some chorus. You should find those in Soundtrack Pro or Garage Band.

The helmet characteristic can also be done acoustically when recording if it is not too late. Speaking into a glass might work but I would recommend a larger object like a mixing bowl or a bucket.
