  Very weird issue with network

  We have a network, with a G5 intel and G5 powerpc. It’s been fine for about 2 years. Ever since we upgraded the intel G5 to fcp 6.0, clips in project files would shift over 2 or more seconds. Not all clips, just some. We never use the same project file, it’s always copied and transferred over.

  We have both machines at 6.0.1, and deleted all preferences, and are using practically the same exact settings. But some clips just keep shifting over ( not physically but as if using the slip/slide tool). Can anyone help with this issue?

  No G5’s computers ever had Intel processors in them, and no Intel ever had a G5 processor in it.

  Intel Macs have not been out for 2 years.

  Aside from the gross inaccuracies in your post, how was the project moved from one computer to the next. Are you using media manager?
