  Re-capturing clips

  I have a project I need to re-create.

  I have the FCP file – with an edit – and the original tapes – but my media is all off-line. Is there a way to re-capture just the clips used in the edit, or do I have to recapture all the footage I captured originally?

  If you are on FCP 5.14 or above, you can media manage the timeline to include just the clips to capture.
