  I’m purchasing one of these and just found out its 15% off until thursday october 18th.

  This is the updated version of the 2407 and boasts 92% color gamut (over other LCDs) its native res is 1920×1200 and has an HDCP compliant connection.

  At $ 568 you can’t go wrong.

  Are these Dells 16×9 and 4×3 switchable? How do they display SD video?

  You need to to “buy it” through the small business
  center. When you add it to your cart, the discount
  will show up…

  Interesting question about the 4:3 or 16:9.

  Since its only vga and dvi-d with hdcp I would imagine
  it auto switches if your watching HD or SD content kinda
  like a plasma does.

  Sure would be nice to know, there are other HD monitors in this class (Hundai) which tout various format capabilities. I have a little Sony 17″ multiformat monitor which has all the formats as options.
