    Hello to everyone,
I have some PSD files with 2 layers (people and background) separates with the pen tool in PhotoShop.

Is there a way to bring my PSD file with my work path in the PhotoShop as a mask directly when I import the file?

I tryed to Copy > Paste the path from the PhotoShop but the position of the mask create is not correct.

Is there a way or I need to every path from PhotoShop

Thanks for the attention, sorry about my “porr” english

if you have your ps path as a layer vector mask on one layer and import that into ae as a compostion, you will get a comp with two layers, one of which will have a mask applied.

you will be able to use most of the mask properties, like feather, opacity and expansion. and at least some of the effects that can utilize masks, like stroke, will recognize the ps vector mask. however, you can’t manipulate the vector mask points in ae.

also, when you’re copying paths from photoshop or illustrator into AE, be sure to paste them into square-pixel comps, otherwise the masks will not line up.
