    Hello all,

I just baught a new LaCie external Hard drive of 320 GB. I am working on FCP 6.0, and when I started digitizing into my project after 9 min the hard drive stopped the digitizing and said that there is no more room on the hard drive. I checked my system settings and all my scratch disks are allocated correctly. I then went into the disk utility and did a check up, everything was apparently fine, but when I returned to my project it still said to me after 9 minuted that it has no more space. Can somebody help me, please?

Another thing is that I was wondering whether it is possible to merge two FCp projects into one, I seem to remember that it is possible, but I am not sure and I don’t how to do it.

    Thanks a lot!
    Sarah

The drive was probably FAT32 or simple format out of the box and has not been formatted properly for the Macintosh. See the MacOS help system. Disk Utility, Erase, MacOS.
