    Hello all,

Well I’m still trying to export my footage, but to no avail!!
I’ve come across a problem with e 720p 30fps preset in the quicktime export menu of FCP.
We all know how slow it is to export HDV footage from FCP, so this problem really got my goat!!
All was going well, I did a test with a small clip, and the exported quality was superb, so I went for it, and exported the timeline as a quicktime 720p 30fps movie.
After an hour or so, (the project is 120 mins) I opened up the movie to find that there was a glitch where I had made a cut in the project, (nothing visible when you play the project back in the timeline).
Also, the last 5 mins or so of the project were missing. I’ve checked my in and out points, and alls well there, it just seems that there is either a limit on the length of footage you can output using this preset, which I find odd…..I’ve tried it twice more, and still the same result…..any ideas?

    All the best

    Dave

Did you force render (conform) the sequence before exporting?
