    Hello All,

I have Final Cut Studio 2 at work. Today I am working from home – but my home computer only have FCS 1 and won’t allow me to open the FSC2 project file. Can I save the project file as something else so that I can open it on the FCS1 system?

    Many Thanks!

Yes, but what version? And then how do I actually open the sequence? Just double-click the XML file?

You will need to save to XML from your Work. Open that file on your home machine. XML 3 or 4.

Ok i had someone save it as version 4 and email it to me. When I opened from my home computer it asked for another file…?

    I’ll try version 3?

I had luck with Ver 2. It did not have filters transitions etc so I am not sure how anything but cuts translates.
