  Clips converted thru Cimema Tools disappeared from RAID?

  This day just continued to get better and better.

  Looking at the post below, you can see what today was like.
  I converted a group of 24fps clips to 23.98 in Cinema Tools. They appeared to replace the original clips. Hmmm. Distructive editing.
  Anyhow, I used the converted clips to edit my spot…with some problems. again, see below.
  At Peter’s suggestion I opened the project back up to take a look at the field order of the clips before heading home.
  When I opened the project, I found that every clip used in the spot was missing. Not offline where I could reconnect them but MISSING. As in gone from the RAID! Only the clips used in the spot were missing. All of the other clips converted in the process were still there and still online.
  All I did was to save the project and shut the machine down for the evening. WTF!
  I guess that now I will have to drag the HDCam deck back out of it’s shipping container (it’s a rental) and recapture and then reconvert the clips all over again.
  Where did these things go anyway? What’s to prevent them from disappearing again, and why did Cinema Tools replace the original clips rather than making new ones anyway?

  Man, will this day ever end?
